Your contribution:

  • Installing, configuring and maintaining hardware components in the data centre, including servers, network devices and storage systems.
  • Performing regular backups and recovery checks to ensure all data is securely stored and accessible.
  • Monitoring and operating our data centre infrastructure to ensure efficient performance, availability and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues and improve system performance and scalability.
  • Manage software updates and patches for the entire data centre to ensure optimal security and performance.
  • Work with the development team to assess system architecture and make suggestions for infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
  • Work closely with other teams in the organisation.
  • Documenting all activities, processes and system changes.

What you bring along:

  • Completed studies in computer science, engineering or similar technical specialisation.
  • Proven professional experience as a data centre engineer or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including server systems, network components and storage technologies.
  • Experience in configuring and monitoring virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and find solutions quickly.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with various internal teams and external customers
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to perform emergency repairs or system critical upgrades.
